121st gnawing stone

along
with the wind

                                   it has been here
                                   all along

the hamster of autumn

                                   the unending

gnawing at
the days'
end

                                    of everything
                                    ending

(and light embedded in brain fluids)

120th lonely stone

from morning
to early
afternoon

                                              it's how it is

a fly kept me company

                                              the light eating giant

at 3 pm
it drowned itself
in my coffee

                                              grows bigger
                                              t'wards winter

Bones - a journal for new haiku

Together with Sheila Windsor and Alan Summers I've started a new journal for gendai / new haiku.
On the web-site www.bonesjournal.com we've specified in words what we are looking for in haiku in the 21st century and we've created a "demo-version" to demonstrate.

haibun

When my ring finger and the pinkie sleeps my cigarettes become cone-like. It usually happens when I'm lying down supporting my head with the right hand letting some crap tv enter my void. Outside two residents from the sheltered living house shout drunken shouts and the rain has stopped.

a star in the east
I haven't heard my name
for some days now

119th stone (surprised)

cold rain

                                       just as I
                                       remembered it

I lost count
of how many
times

                                      the birch behind
                                      the other trees

I lifted my hand
today

                                      and this headache

118th trashy stone

the muscles
around my scull

                                     as the gospels say

somehow
got
smaller

                                    these are the last
                                    of days
                                                 (again)

over night?

                                    and yet I take out
                                    the trash

117th leaning stone

this turning
of the year

                   the light fades (slowly)

to
f
a
l
l
.
.
.

                    I'm learning to lean against

I guess
there's nothing
to stop it

                     an axis
                           of absence

116th annoyed stone

the first
signs of
autumn

                            info overload
                            (why are ”these people”
                             swarming the ether with
                             their emotional banalities?)

I'm sure
it will lliw ti

                             I prefer songs

pass
too

                              in tongues
                                      I don't understand

115th windy stone

and there's the wind

                                      watching
                                     ”History of Science”

it has obviously
taken on

                                     not a word of thanks
                                              to God

its autumn rage

                                     for making creation
                                     that inexhaustible

114th foolish stone

proving
my
point

                       I was a fool

a green
insect
drowns

                       but does she have to

in the tea
         (I hate tea)

                        remember all the details?
